Kippure Estate is one of Ireland’s most popular ‘alternative’ wedding venues. It’s also a much-liked venue for parties, family functions, business meetings and workshops, with accommodation for up to 120 guests on site. It’s a foremost provider of weddings, outdoor activities, corporate team-building events and school tours, as well as walking and activity breaks.
I am responsible for Kippure’s overall marketing strategy and day-to-day online marketing activities, with a primary focus on inbound marketing, online brand building, website management and coordination and both online- and social media marketing. Avon Rí Lakeshore Resort, Co. Wicklow, Ireland
Avon Rí Lakeshore Resort is a purpose-built leisure & corporate resort in a holiday village style in Blessington, County Wicklow. The resort combines townhouse self-catering accommodation, hotel-style guest rooms, multiple meeting rooms and the Lakeview Bar and Restaurant, along with a range of land- and water based activities. Avon Rí is hosts beautiful lakeshore weddings.
I have been working with the Avon Rí team on various inbound marketing projects. For example, I created and implemented online marketing strategies for weddings. An established holiday village, Avon Rí was seeking guidance and hands-on help in developing the business as a wedding venue as an alternative revenue stream. I was asked to increase brand awareness for this company, which exists in a busy wedding venue market. We also developed a dedicated wedding website: AvonRiWeddings.com. This included goal identification, scope definition, site architecture- and content creation, visual elements (including organising and overseeing professional photo shoot) and site testing prior to launch. Market research is always a vital part of the process. When working with Atut Med, I focused firstly on analysing the size, requirements and competition within the German market. This provided a solid basis upon which a proactive, successful marketing plan could be built.

My work/project for TEC Leadership included carrying out first an Organic SEO Site Check followed by creating an inbound marketing plan, which was limited to a small, manageable number of goals that the owner manager of TEC Leadership Institute could carry out herself within a certain time frame, meaning that the plan needed to be practical and achievable.
Online marketing was always one of those things that I knew was important to my business, but somehow always fell low on my list of priorities. When I finally realised that I needed to focus more on improving our website and inbound marketing, I started to look around for someone who could point me in the right direction.
